The club runs over 20 teams. During the season, squads train on Saturday mornings at Whitefoot Lane Playing Fields (BR1 5SQ), with one mid-week evening session (Nov/Dec and Feb/Mar), and play home league matches on Sundays at Downham Lower Fields. The main season runs from September to June, with breaks during school holidays.

Open Trials: April and May

A limited number of teams are holding free trials for new players from Saturday 11 April through to early May, on Saturday mornings at Whitefoot Lane Playing Fields (BR1 5SQ).

Only the teams listed below are currently trialling. Any team not listed is full for the 2026/27 season.

Parents and carers should contact the relevant coach directly to register interest, confirm availability and arrange trial dates.

Registration and Fees

For players who are selected:

• Registration takes place in mid to late May
• One-off registration fee: £85
• Monthly subscription: £35
• Sibling discounts are available

Lewisham Tigers FC is run entirely by volunteers. Fees cover playing kit, coach education and safeguarding, pitch hire, equipment and essential running costs.

Season Dates

• Final training session of the 2025/26 season: Saturday 20 June
• 2026/27 season begins in September
• Training and matches pause during school holidays

What to Bring to Trials

Players attending their first trial should:

• Be accompanied by an adult who can complete a registration form
• Wear football boots and shin pads
• Bring a bottle of water

What Coaches Are Looking For

Coaches are looking for players with a good overall level of ability and experience of playing for their school or another club. Players should be comfortable in competitive football and able to demonstrate strong fundamental skills, game awareness and commitment.
